The author carries out a wide historiographic review of the main trends within domestic studies on the issue of Crimea for the last five years. Based on the analysis of various stances on different aspects of Russia and Crimea reunification, political nature of these views is revealed and assessed. The inference is made that the majority of scholars adhere to a position reflecting the national interests of modern Russia

This paper represents the political aspect of indigenous issue. The authors are trying to answer the question: what are the “special” interests of indigenous peoples and what is their nature? Existing approaches to the study of this problem (i.e. representative political and regulatory) are subjected to a critical review. The authors argue that a key aspect of the political dimension of the indigenous problem lies in the relations that are associated with the rights of indigenous peoples to use land and other natural resources.

The article analyzes the problems of intercultural communication in the implementation of multiculturalism policy. In the context of increasing global challenges and threats, the implementation of the policy of multiculturalism in the European Union and the Russian Federation is considered. In the article the comparative analysis of possible scenarios for the future implementation of the policy of multiculturalism in the face of rising global risks (on the basis of models of Chandrana Kukathas).

The article examines the directions of institutionalization of professional expertise in the sphere of state national policy of the Russian Federation from the perspective of expansion and improvement of tools for its implementation. The necessity of creating a complex multi-level system of scientific support and dialogue between the authorities and the expert community is substantiated. The importance of forming a regional expert panel for ethnic and political analysis and monitoring is emphasized.

The main trends of Russian scholarships on political functionality of the Russian state in post-soviet period are considered in the article. Based on the analysis of the dominant positions about the expediency and possibilities of reformation of the constitution of the Russian Federation, the author substantiates his own conception of law support for prospects of evolution of political functionality of a state as one of the key element of providing stable and dynamic development of the Russian society

The author proposes a solution to the problem of formulating a hypothesis in a political science research. In solving this problem, researchers, especially beginners, often encounter great difficulties. The article analyzes the natural causes of such difficulties. One of them is the lack of experiment with the object of research within humanitarian studies (including political). These are also problems of scientific expediency of statements made by political scientists regarding certain assumptions about the subject, method, and expected results of their research.

The article deals with topical issues of reform policy for the purposes of effective forest legislation and state management of forest ownership, use and protection, management of forest resources in the Russian Federation, taking into account the existing contradictions in the forms of ownership of forests and the impact of natural and anthropogenic factors on the current state of forests.

The article considers the problem of interpretation of the theory of Novorossia within the Crimean social and humanitarian discourses. Opinions of the researchers have been presented. It was shown that the Crimean scholars were able to derive a number of important provisions that are relevant to the theory. They explored the specifics of the study of the space of Novorossia, suggesting the interpretation of its borders.

В статье рассматриваются основные теоретико-методологические подходы к определению «игровые технологии» исходя из социально-политической детерминированности данной категории. В работе анализируется политическая составляющая игровых моделей, обозначаются их основные виды, формы и функции, а также систематизируются исследования игровых практик в социально-политической сфере.

The configuration of the electoral arena of political participation indicates the presence of significant problems in its functioning, among which are the following. Firstly, in Russian society, there was a classification of only one electoral practice — voting, while only a limited number of people mastered other political actions important for the development of this arena. Secondly, there is an ambivalence of ideas about the functionality of elections, which negatively affects the basic trust in this institution.
