The subject of this publication is the analysis of problems of the meaning of some fundamentally important guidelines of the modern state strategy of political education of young Russian citizens. Uncertainties in the meaning of such guidelines are found in regulatory documents that define the goals and objectives of all work of state institutions in this direction. Accordingly, there is a diffi culty in reliably determining to what extent the result of this work meets the expectations of the state and society, their political interests.
