This article is devoted to a comprehensive political analysis of the phenomenon of political empowerment of senior citizens as a key area in the context of global demographic aging. The focus is on the transformation of the role of older people in the political process, from the traditional perception of them as passive recipients of social support to their recognition as full-fl edged subjects of political action.
