The article reveals the policy of development of state control over pharmaceutical production in the Russian Federation at the present stage. The author reveals the concept of control and supervisory activities and defines them as identical based on the goals set for these concepts and methods for achieving them. The principles underlying control and supervisory activities are identified, which are divided into general and special based on belonging to one or more industries.
