This publication examines the specifics of migration regulation in the Russian Federation, as well as the role of schools and colleges in nurturing patriotic and socially responsible individuals. It examines key concepts related to state migration policy, as well as the regulatory and institutional frameworks at both the federal and regional levels. It is noted that the eff ectiveness of migration policy can be enhanced through active engagement with young people by education advisors.
