Romania’s foreign policy between global ambitions and limited opportunities

The article examines specifics of determining the priorities of Romania’s foreign policy at the global level. The main strategic goals and objectives that the country faces in international relations are analyzed, as well as its role and influence on the world stage are assessed. The aim of the work is to identify the hierarchy of global guidelines of Romania’s modern foreign policy, for which a content analysis of the main strategic documents in this area, as well as a discourse analysis of the main foreign policy ideas, was carried out.

Forecasts and scenarios of the Trump administration’s Arctic strategy: Second term

In the article, the author refers to the novelties in the US Arctic agenda that emerged after the second inauguration of D.Trump. In the course of the research, an attempt was made to answer a number of questions. Will the new US administration completely change its strategy in the Arctic, or will it continue to implement some percentage of the programs inherited from the Democrats? To assess the realism of individual elements of the republican Arctic program in terms of available capabilities and organizational measures.

The authors analyze terrorism from the point of view of definitions in the national jurisdictions of the USA, China, EU, and Russia. They also compare approaches to determine key features of this phenomenon in the papers of the most cited researchers of terrorism. National counterterrorism policies are governed by national laws, which depend on the doctrinal basics of the definition of terrorism.
