The article examines influence of factors of trust, distrust, and fake news on the level of legitimacy of state power and decisions taken. The position of the authors who establish a clear correlation between the level of legitimacy of the government and the level of development of its democratic institutions is disputed. The legitimacy of power is based on the assessment of the conformity of the position of authority and decisions made to the image of power formed in the civil consciousness and shared ideological positions.

В статье раскрываются особенности демонстрации культурного контента в политическом тексте современной российской провинции. Для поддержания собственной легитимности правящая
элита всё чаще обращается за смыслами, продуцируемыми культурным дискурсом. Использование культурного содержания в политических практиках власти отмечается всё чаще и нарастает по мере приближения нового электорального цикла.

В статье на примере Саратовской областной организации КПСС 1988–1991 гг. исследуется процесс утраты парторганизацией политической легитимности и функциональности. Проанализированы роль и место партийной организации на завершающем этапе
перестройки в региональной структуре власти, механизм утраты важнейших внутрипартийных функций – рекрутирования новых членов, интегрирующей, идеологической, способность адекватно оценивать кризисную ситуацию и др.
