Digital and neurotechnologies in sociocultural space as the subject of sociological analysis

The article analyzes the problems that have arisen in connection with the active development and application of digital and neurotechnologies in the everyday life of young people. The authors, on the basis of the theoretical analysis and the results of specifi c sociological studies, suggest that the practice of digital and neurotechnologies in general aff ects the perceptions of a person, his/her consciousness and thinking. In the course of the study, a set of general scientifi c methods was applied.

Media practices of “digital” generation: Political context

The object of this research were representatives of so-called “digital” generation of Russian youth (people born in the fi rst decade of the 21st century), and the subject was media practices common among them. Despite the fact that within Russian scholarship, quite a lot of attention is traditionally paid to the problems of media consumption by young people, various aspects of political dimension of the formats of interaction with the media widely spread among young people are rarely in the focus of attention of scholars.

Methodological Peculiarities of Study the Role of Internet Communications in Politics

In this article, we consider methodological difficulties of study the role of Internet communications in politics. We analyze different approaches to understanding the Internet. We draw conclusions that the introduction of Internet communications contribute not only to the transformation and modernization of the political process, but further change of research paradigm of political science.

The Social Nature of the Web-documentary in the Framework of the New Media

The article presents an analysis of the concept of the web-documentary in the age of online media. The authors considers significant changes in this area affected the social institutions such as film and media. The purpose of the article is the designation of the web documentary concepts boundaries and the selection of its specific characteristics and values in the society system. Considered in theory, reveal the impact of the changes in the media in the social processes of the Information Society.

Contemporary trends of globalization and progress in communication technologies make studies of social communication a very important topic. This article strives to shed some light onto specifics of social communication in the temporal aspect, and highlights tendencies in its development, common for all periods of human history. This article also amends definition of a new virtual medium – Cyberspace, which represents a new stage in evolution of social communication

Социальные медиа как инструмент публичной политики в современной России

In article scientific interpretations of the concept “social media” are considered, functions (communicative, relativistic) and tendencies of their development during a modern information era reveal. It is proved that social media give the chance of upholding of interests in public space to both ordinary citizens, and the opposition movements. The Russian network community actively carries out political dialogue by means of social media, forming a public discourse and new forms of mass communication.

The article considers the problems of mass media interaction with audience through the analysis of feedback mechanisms of television with teleconsumers presented in the Internet. The author analyses the relevance of television and Internet as information resources for Russian media consumers, characterizes the Internet-sources of opinion of the television audience, analyses the official pages of popular TV channels and spectator forums. 

Политико-правовое регулирование интернет-пространства в современной России

The article examines the evolution of political and legal regulation of activities in the information space in the Russian Federation. An analysis of key legal acts and documents in this area, as well as other initiatives of government authorities to ensure control over the dissemination of information is provided. The conclusion is made about the reasons and purposes of toughening of the state regulation of Internet communities and Internet space in general.

Влияние новых цифровых технологий на потребительское поведение: региональный аспект

The article analyzes various aspects of new digital technologies impact on consumer behavior. The necessity of sociological interpretation and understanding of digital reality as a large-scale socioeconomic phenomenon, and the search for social determinants of consumer behavior in these conditions are formulated. It is argued that digital technologies are promising tools for consumer behavior social construction.
