The article is devoted to theoretical analysis of the phenomenon of Sunday school in the religious education system of the Russian Orthodox Church. Discusses the origin and historical development of the Sunday school in Russia. The structure of the modern system of religious education of the Russian Orthodox Church, describes the features of the organization of religious education in the Saratov diocese. Describes basic functions, forms, types, levels, typological properties of the modern Sunday schools for children.

The article presents the results of a study of social well-being of young people of the Volga region. The analysis of materials biographical interviews were identified types of social cohesion, factors of its formation, described the degree of relationship with the social wellbeing of youth social cohesion in the context of socio-cultural.

The article considers the employment of sociological department graduates which is a most relevant issue today. It highlights and describes typical discrepancies between the graduates’ expectations and job offers at the employment market. The author considers the most popular positions occupied by the sociologically educated young people and also studies national and foreign experience of interconnection between sociological education and employers. As a result current problems have been identified and ways to effectively employ sociologists have been found.

Information technologies have multifold impact on the social development. Initially the Internet was deliberately formed as a network structure that has no single point of control. It became a symbol of decentralization and successes that can be achieved with the help of this organizing principle. «Cloud technologies» in the 2010s have made considerable adjustments to the global structure of information flows.
