В статье рассматривается процесс становления и основные составляющие социологического дискурса в литературно-публицистическом творчестве Н. Г. Чернышевского. Особое внимание уделяется взглядам русского мыслителя на социальные функции литературы и публицистики.

В статье анализируются социально-демографические ценности как регуляторы соответствующего поведения населения и обо­значаются основные векторы их трансформации в современной России.

Article on materials of sociological research analyzes the presentation of students of friendship through the prism of social qualities (honesty, loyalty, compassion, understanding, listening) and self-assessment yourself as a friend (a sense of humor, sincerity, kindness). Identified contradictions provoke betrayal and destruction of friendly relations, especially in the maximalist form that loses its value with age.

The article presents the analysis of theories and hypotheses of foreign as well as Russian authors who studied social aspects of the media. The value of various scientific schools which developed their own interpretations and ideas is noted, however all the analyzed theories reveal the social character of this means of communication. The aim of the research is to explain the theoretical foundation to study the media as a social phenomenon as well as examining the notion of a suicide in the perspective of the media theory.
