The Construction of Social Reality: Socio-linguistic Aspect

This article presents the problems of language role in the process of socialization, from the points of radical and social aspects of social reality construction. It is shown that the symbolic nature of language signs governs the creation of meanings to implement mutual understanding in the process of socialization. Special attention is paid to social conditionality of language functions in cognitive aspect of construction of social reality.

Genesis of a Concept «Social Stability» in Sociological Science

The article describes the evolution of ideas about social stability in social science. Particular attention is paid to different interpretations of stability in the sociological thought.

Civil Identity as a Condition of a Society’s Conflictogenity Decrease

The considers various conflicts connected with a problem of designing and formation of civil identity. Conflict zones, in the author’s opinion, are concluded in various civilization bases Western European and Russian; lack of integrity of civil identity. The author offers research methodological tools – model of research of civil identity in integrity «I-corporal», «I-rational», «I-mental». On the example of modern youth’s civil identity the way of conflict situations diagnostics of is shown.

Correlation Analysis of the Interpretation of Health as Russians Value

In the article based on the results of empirical sociological research conducted by correlation analysis of coupling value relevance of health and factors such as place of residence, health status, gender identity, family and children’s status, education, income. Each of these features separately, low level of influence and often-multi-directional vectors exposure. However, they have a cumulative effect on interpretation of relevance to health. This underlines the importance of ideology difference health behaviour and real individual people.

Civil Society Organizations in the Field of Mental Health: Attempt of Classification

The attempt is made to classify civil organizations functioning in the sphere of mental health. Based on the results of in-depth interviewsconducted by author of the article in the period 2014–2016 the following classify causes are suggested: client’s target groups, main directions of activity, main actors, scale of activity, client’s mental illness, fundraising models. The novelty of the work is the discussion of civil society in the context of mental health.

Sociological Reflection Student Friendship Through the Prism of Social Qualities

In article on materials of sociological research examines students’ attitudes to friendship, emphasized the social qualities of a friend that with age increase its value for youth: honesty, compassion, understanding, listening skills, loyalty, sense of humor, sincerity, kindness underlying the maximalist interpretation of friendship, its utilitarian and entertainment, and reduce its importance as they grow older students.

Modern Urban Society and Space Children: the Problem of Pairing

The problem of childhood space narrowing in its relationship with the negative trends in the development of modern urban society. The influence of the urban landscape to «children’s Territorial behavior» and personality development of the whole child, leading eventually to a breach of transfer processes of socio-historical experience and adaptation in society, social destruction and deviation.

Social Potential of Agricultural Workers of Older Age Groups

The article addresses the current problems faced by older people in the agro-food complex of contemporary Russia and evaluates their social potential. The article also contains recommendations on further improvement of the policies concerning age groups of specialists of agricultural enterprises.

In the article author examines modern socio-cultural communication between the twin cities. The author emphasizes the importance of cultural tourism, which has always played an important role and helped to strengthen twinning arrangements between different countries. Properly organized cultural tour is an important aspect of maintaining of the cultural sector territory and is an indicator of sociocultural communication between the twin cities.
